Positive Reviews
positive:
Great location.
The hotel is in a good, central location and between Tampa and Largo. There are great beaches nearby and a choice of two airports, around 20 minutes drive away. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores in the immediate vicinity too.
positive:
A helpful hotel.
They know that many guests are using the hotel as a pre-and later, as a post-flight base. Faced with 'sky high' parking costs, this kindly hotel will allow you to leave the car here. So just get a cab or bus to the airport. Now, that's service!
positive:
It's all good.
Rooms are attractive, well decorated and clean; just the place you want to return to at the end of a long day. The trend continues with breakfast choices that are well above average and friendly, helpful staff who ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Hard times at breakfast.
Turn up for breakfast after the initial rush and be prepared for not very appetizing pickings; cold eggs, stale bread; that sort of thing. They need to keep control at breakfast to ensure best quality and value for all diners.
negative:
If you want to lie down in a darkened room ...
The curtains are ineffective and light comes flooding into the room at night, so 'light' sleepers don't stand a chance! Rooms are on the small side too. OK for one person but cramped for two or more. This makes the rooms acceptable for an overnight stay but not much longer.
negative:
No boats Just cars and planes.
The hotel seems to be directly below the flight path for airport arrivals and departures, so prepare for an early morning wake up alert! Road traffic isn't as intense, but it is continuous; day and night.
