Views are sensational.
The coastal vistas from some of the sea-facing rooms are nothing short of fabulous. Without doubt, getting to admire this majestic part of the rugged Norfolk coastline every morning is worth the booking price alone. Clear evening sunsets are pretty special here too.
positive:
Very convenient location.
With the beach, pier, town centre and train station all within easy strolling distance, nowhere in Cromer is too far away from the Sandcliff. Having a couple of top quality golf courses nearby is a nice bonus as well (for some, at least).
positive:
Breakfasts are just the job.
Cooked to perfection with plenty of tea/coffee/fruit juice and as much toast as you can handle; the Sandcliff's cooked breakfasts do a great job of setting you up for the day. The lovely fresh strawberries, raspberries, loganberries, grapes and clementines that come with the Continental offerings are equally delicious.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Bedroom curtains could do with being thicker.
The thin curtains in the guest rooms let in so much light that you cannot help but be woken within half an hour of the sun coming up. There aren't any blackout curtain options available either.
negative:
Parking is limited.
Free it may be but it's not much use if there's not enough space for you to park. Sadly, this is a perennial concern as there aren't many spaces available for guests here at all.
negative:
But that's about it.
Put the issues with the curtains and parking to one side and you're left with a guest house that, when all's said and done, warrants relatively little to grumble about.
