Positive Reviews
positive:
The Inside Is Better Than The Outside
The hotel is not so impressive on the outside, but the inside offers much more. The interior is clean for the most part and has a Victorian ambiance. Rooms are spacious, there is a small sofa for additional comfort, the bathroom is decent, and there’s free coffee in the lobby. It’s more like a southern hospitality environment.
positive:
Breakfast Is Good And Plenty
A simple breakfast will certainly help you get your day going. Hot waffles, cereal, coffee, juice, and a few other goodies will keep you satisfied until your next meal. Making your own waffles is fun.
positive:
The Quiet Part Of Town
The hotel is in the quiet part of town, so you can look forward to a good night’s sleep. If you desire more action, there are lots of stores, restaurants, and malls not too far away.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Put Away Too Early
Though breakfast has a three-hour time span, you’d better get to the dining area early. It seems that the staff clears up early and though there is plenty of food, when everything is gone, there are no refills.
negative:
Staff Miscommunications
There seems to be a communication problem with the staff when it comes to organizing visitor’s request. For example, if you agree with the daytime staff for a late checkout time, when it’s time for checkout, other staff members may not even know about it.
negative:
Jacuzzi Let Down
You may find the Jacuzzi less than appealing due to the hot water getting cold too fast. You have to turn it off, let it get hot again, then turn it back on and repeat the process. By the time it’s over, you’ve lost your desire to have a nice relaxing soak.
