Monzi Safari Lodge is situated on a small litchi farm inside a fenced and gated security estate 15km before St Lucia KZN and less than 2km from the Futululu Forrest which is part of the Isimangaliso Wetland Park. Each of our units are situated with privacy in mind and each unit has its own private splash pool, deck with pool loungers, umbrellas and barbecuefacility. The units are tastefully decorated with leather couches, crisp white linen, super comfortable beds, flat screen TVs with DSTV and air conditioning. The log cabins all have tiled floors and marble finished kitchens with top quality appliances. The lodge is very tranquil and has small game in the form of Impala, reedbuck and Gnu roaming around the property and an abundance of birds can be spotted in the lush gardens and trees. This lodge is completely self catering and is serviced daily. Groceries could be bought in St Lucia town from supermarkets. The lodge is a mere 10 minutes drive from St Lucia town which is the gateway to the Eastern shores of Lake St Lucia- also known as Cape Vidal. The oldest game reserve in Africa featuring the Big Five, the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park, is less than 45 minutes' drive away.
