Guesthouse Lake Country Inn (Kelowna, Canada)

On the whole, guests were pretty happy with the location of the inn. They reported that it was quite easy to walk along Highway 97 into Winfield, were there was said to be a supermarket, a couple of restaurants and other amenities that they needed. Some also liked the fact that this community gets far fewer tourists than many areas around Lake Kelowna.

One of the first things many guests mentioned in their reviews was that their room was very clean when they checked in. It seems that they felt housekeeping had done an excellent job.

Guests were clearly very impressed with the inn's front office staff. They were said to be very welcoming and friendly and seemed to have the sort of caring attitude that made them easy to approach with a question or concern.

The inn is right on Highway 97 and guests in rooms that faced that way reported that they could definitely hear the sound of cars, and especially trucks, passing by. Of course, this could be a problem at night when they were trying to sleep.

Quite a number of guests had issues with the parking available. For a start, those travelling at busy times reported that the lot was really too small for the number of guests the inn accommodates, leading to them struggling to find an empty spot at times. Secondly, the bays themselves were said to be tiny, and definitely not suitable for trucks or SUV's.

There were many complaints that the Wi-Fi was weak in both signal strength and also speed when one finally managed to connect.
