Warm caretaker.
Yvette is the owner and caretaker of the guesthouse. Previous guests have raved about how nice and helpful she is. She will explain all you need to know about the neighborhood and how to get around the city. She will allow for early check-in and luggage drop-off. Yvette keeps the guesthouse clean and smelling wonderful. She also provides a full stock of tea in the kitchen.

Great facilities.
Each floor has a small kitchenette with labeled cabinets. Yvette will showed you your personal cupboard complete with cups, plates, utensils, and spices. There is also a mini fridge and microwave. There are trash cans labeled for easy understanding. Yvette is a direct point of contact for your stay after you complete your booking. She will provide you with two keys, one for your room and one for the front entry.
positive:
Good location.
The guesthouse is conveniently located near popular chain stores. There is a coffee shop, pharmacy, movie theatre, clothing stores, and the historic Apollo Theatre. The bus lines are on both sides of the block and the 2 and 3 express subway lines are just two blocks away. Most importantly, you can take the M60 bus service which will leave you two streets away from the guesthouse, a very convenient service for budget travellers.

negative:
On-site Animals.
The guesthouse has an on-site cat and dog, they are on the property grounds but will never go into private rooms. This may be an inconvenience for guests with pet allergies.
negative:
Not all rooms have air-conditioning.
Not all of the private rooms include an air-conditioning unit, guests can coordinate room requests with the booking.
negative:
One person per room.
There are a few mandatory rules enforced in the guesthouse. One is that a single room is only for one person, no exceptions. Guests travelling with others can rent a double room which features a full size bed for two people.
