Positive Reviews
positive:
Expansive suites.
If you're staying with a large group of guests, then the family suites will make you feel especially comfortable and welcome. They feature more than enough space to accommodate larger group sizes, and also offer relaxing sitting spaces to allow for recuperation between trips.
positive:
Well-maintained rooms.
Although the general design of the motel is more traditional and steers clear of contemporary styles, it's kept in meticulous condition and ensures a consistently clean experience for you and your fellow guests. Regardless of where you stay, you'll be treated to a spotless space.
positive:
Excellent placement.
Cedar Lodge is located extremely close to the nearby hot pools, enabling you to make the trip with a car, or with a slightly longer on-foot journey. No matter how you make it to the pools, you'll be able to return to a clean room and showers in no time on your way back.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Staff attitudes.
Although the staff is far from horrible, several guests reported incidents where the management wouldn't remedy a particular issue, or didn't take notice of questionable loiterers near the motel. Stay attentive and bring all issues to the forefront as soon as possible.
negative:
Bedding quality.
While the beds (and the general rooms) were clean and well-maintained, the level of quality and comfort in most of the sheets and pillows is lacking. You may find it harder to achieve a solid night of rest on these surfaces, if you're a sensitive sleeper.
negative:
Intermittent Wi-Fi.
The Wi-Fi was not entirely consistent in its performance, and often cut out while guests were using it. Consider taking along a wired adapter, or just using mobile data on your phone during your stay.
