Services offered at the Cesare Balbo Inn were almost perfect because the guests were treated like family. The staff gave clear instructions on how to go to major attractions, marked the maps, and provided notes so the guests would not get lost.

The bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned each day and all amenities work properly according to guests. The showers have stable water supply and strong pressures. The towels are fluffy and absorbent, and are changed regularly.

Many guests expressed that they are so happy because they can just walk to the famous Colosseum & Arch of Constantine within 15 minutes, and cut on transportation expenses. Moreover, the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Spanish Steps are just a 20-minute walk away.

According to guests' reviews, there were times when it rained in Rome for many weeks, causing some leaks in the electrical panels of the property. Thus, the power supply was interrupted sometimes. This was not mainly the management's fault though, and the staff regularly checked the sockets during this time.

A few guests commented that they heard conversations from adjacent rooms. The street was peaceful though, so there was no external noise. In addition, the staff was alert in reprimanding the guests who got too loud.

The breakfast only consisted of coffee, bread, juice, and a few desserts according to guests. However, the food portions are enough to fill a hungry stomach, the pastries are well baked, and the coffee somehow smells fresh. Moreover, the food could be packed which was convenient for those guests with busy schedules.
