Guesthouse Comfort Inn (Cornwall, Canada)

The hotel enjoys a very convenient location jut off the Macdonald Cartier Freeway which means that it is easily accessible from Montreal and Ottawa which are around 80-minutes' and 90-minutes' drive away respectively and the United States border is also just a short drive away across Cornwall Island and within the immediate vicinity there are many different shops and restaurants including a McDonald's just a short walk away.

Breakfast is included in the room rate and there's lots of choice to set you up for the day ahead with a continental option featuring the usual bread, cheese and cereals amongst other things and they also offer sausage and eggs, but the hot waffles in particular come highly recommended by previous guests.

There is a really nice indoor pool which is kept clean and well-maintained by staff with the water at a very pleasant temperature and as the pool doesn't get too busy you may find yourself with the whole place to yourself where you can swim lengths in peace and tranquillity.

In different areas of the hotel it is starting to look quite tired and dated with fixtures, fittings and furniture in need of replacement and towels and bed linen also looking quite worn and threadbare as is the carpet in some places.

Some previous guests were quite pleased with the Wi-Fi and found that they were able to stream films online whereas others found that it was painfully and frustratingly slow.

There have been reports that when the air conditioning units are in use they vibrate and make lots of noise which is a particular nuisance at night.
