The owner of this hotel is warm and welcoming which made guests feel right at home. Guests liked his straightforward manner and ability to recommend local restaurants, entertainment venues and shops. They also liked the fact that he is super informative when it comes to all things Derry like must-see sights and transportation options.

This hotel offers a reasonable price point which is less than comparable hotels in this area. The central location is great, as is the secured, off-street parking and bicycle storage. Having access to a fully-equipped kitchen helps to stretch your travel budget a little farther.

Guests found that some of the rooms and bathrooms at this hotel were too small which was problematic for those dealing with places to put their luggage and those who wanted extra room to manoeuvre.

This hotel is beginning to show its age and sure could use an update. Guests commented that furnishings and linens past their prime, beds and bathroom fixtures in need of replacement, detracted from their stay.

Many guests were disturbed by the sound of voices coming from the room beside them and footsteps above their heads, as the walls and ceilings at this hotel are rather thin.
