Guesthouse Best Western Plus Agate Beach Inn (Newport, USA)

The hotel is a quick walk from the ocean which can be reached via a trail leading you from the property to the nearby Agate Beach Park. Guests say this was really cool if you want to take a nice walk along the beach.

Travelers point out the employees were extremely friendly and did an excellent job. Visitors say the staff was very accommodating to your needs and were polite throughout your time at the property.

The hotel's on-site restaurant, Starfish Grill, serves a wide range of fresh seafood dishes and also hosts breakfast. Guests say the food at the restaurant was quite good and the place had a nice ambiance as well.

The hotel does offer free parking on-site but many of the spaces are located some distance away from the hotel. Visitors say they did not enjoy having to park so far away from the hotel and that there should more parking closer to the building.

While the hotel was by and large clean, guests do note there did seem to be areas and aspects of the rooms that were somewhat untidy. Things like windows and bedding would occasionally have some dirt on them.

Guests say the hotel can overbook ocean-view rooms meaning you might reserve one only to not get it. Visitors add it was frustrating to reserve an ocean-view room in advance only for it to not be available when you arrive.
