The rooms are very spacious here, well-decorated and have everything that you need for a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable and many guests have commented on the good night’s sleep they had here. Guests feel like they have received excellent value for money when staying here.

Guests feel like they have received a warm welcome here and have thought it a nice touch to be sometimes greeted by name. Check-in is fast and efficient and the reception staff are happy to give you directions or recommendations of places to visit. The breakfast team also greet you with a smile.

The housekeeping team do a good job at keeping both the individual guest rooms and the public areas of the hotel spotlessly clean.

The general consensus is the breakfast is simply “alright”. There is an adequate amount of food in order to find something to fill up on but it does not stand out as being a particular strength of the hotel.

There are two storeys at this accommodation and no lift. If you have mobility issues, will be travelling with a baby and pram or if you know you will have lots of luggage you may want to request a ground floor room for your convenience.

There is a centrally located ice machine in the hotel but it does not cater for all guests. When it is hot and the ice is in demand it cannot keep up and quickly runs out. The advice is to fill your ice bucket up slightly earlier in the evening than when you plan to use it.
