It was pretty much impossible to find a harsh word written about the breakfast. On the contrary, many guests praised it for being absolutely delicious, all home made and having a very good variety of items to choose from

Guests were clearly happy with the location of the hotel. Going by the reviews, it seems many were in the area to visit the Charlevoix Casino. They reported that the auberge was well within walking distance of the casino and offered both better value and a better environment than the hotels immediately around it.from

Guests couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the couple who owned and/or ran the auberge were. They were described as welcoming and friendly and especially knowledgeable about the surrounding areas, and so able to provide top quality advice and recommendations.from

A number of guests, especially those in the ‘rustic', rather than modern, rooms, mentioned that, though they were comfortable enough, the rooms were really starting to show their age. They believed it was high time they received a makeover.

Quite a number of guests were unhappy with the Wi-Fi system, saying that the signal was not strong enough to reach all the rooms, and even if a signal could be found it still wasn't very fast.

A fair number of guests pointed out that their room did not have a TV in it, resulting in nothing to watch at the end of the day when they would have liked to relax a little in their room.
