Clean and modern rooms
The rooms are well presented and decorated in a modern design. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are comfortable. Guests in upgraded rooms enjoyed additional conveniences such as whirlpool tubs and a kitchenette which allows for the easy self catering.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Dark in-room ambiance
The hotels' particular style of modern decor did not suit the taste of all guests. Some guests felt that the combination of darkly painted rooms and low lighting in the guest rooms created a dark and sometimes 'dingy' atmosphere. Guests also commended that the rooms could have been improved with better lighting facilities.
negative:
Amenities offered have room for improvement
Despite many favourable reviews, some guests felt that particular amenities were lacking. Tea and coffee making facilities were not available in the rooms which some guests expected to enjoy in a 4-star rated hotel. Other guests felt that the complimentary buffet breakfast could have been improved by providing a greater selection of dishes.
negative:
Cleanliness can be hit and miss
While most guests were satisfied with the standard of cleanliness, oversights have been known to happen. Some guests reported dusty surfaces, un-vacuumed carpets and hair found in the bed linen and bathrooms.
