The recurring theme throughout the reviews of this bed and breakfast is the friendliness of the staff. So many guests have got only nice words to say about them that it seems an absolute certainty a warm welcome is guaranteed.

Unlike some bed and breakfasts, this one is more than happy for children to stay. Guests are happy with the family-friendly policy, and say that children are looked after as if they are a part of the family.

As any full English aficionado knows, there is more to a cooked breakfast than throwing some eggs, sausages and bacon on a plate. There are good breakfasts, and there are bad breakfasts. As such it is great to know that the breakfast here is very well rated, so expect a treat when you stay here!

There is no lift in this bed and breakfast, so you might have to carry your luggage up the stairs here. Some guests have said this was not ideal, so if you have mobility problems, this might not be the place for you.

A number of guests have complained about the rigid breakfast time, saying that the lack of flexibility is not great as it means they cannot have a lie in. Guests would prefer the hosts to bend a little and prepare breakfast a little later if requested.

Though not a massive issue, some guests have commented on the décor at this bed and breakfast. They say it is a bit dated and, in general, a lick of paint would not go amiss. That said, it does not detract from guests generally having a comfortable stay.
