Set in one of Scotland’s most spectacular and historic glens, not far from Glencoe village, this alpine-style youth hostel provides an excellent base for walkers and climbers of all abilities - not just in summer but all year round. Glencoe Youth Hostel is perfect if you\'re attempting an historic walk up the Lost Valley or tackling Britain\'s finest ridge walk, the Aonach Eagach (which ends at the hostel). Visit the Glencoe mountain resort for skiing and mountain biking or cycle the Sustrans path to Oban. Alternatively, relax and be inspired by the dramatic scenery and history of this famous glen.Popular with walkers, climbers and families, the hostel offers private en-suite family rooms as well as budget multi-share accommodation. There\'s a large open plan kitchen/dining room with ample cooking facilities and dining tables and, we’ve been told, one of the best drying rooms in the Scottish highlands! Dogs are now welcome at Glencoe when guests book a private room (small fee applies). Please note that all dogs must be booked in advance to ensure that a dog friendly room is allocated.
