Peaceful yet convenient location.
The hotel is far enough away from the hustle and bustle and is surrounded by its own private gardens complete with a pond and plenty of mature trees. Guests enjoyed the peace and tranquillity but also found it convenient being a short drive away from the numerous attractions of Glasgow.

Guests were pleased to find that the overall hygiene levels were high and said that their rooms were kept clean and tidy for the duration of their stay. Many appreciated having all the necessary mod-cons in their rooms including Jacuzzi baths and satellite televisions.

The food served at the hotel restaurant has been highly praised by many of the guests who said that the dishes were well-prepared and made form quality local ingredients. Guests appreciated the extensive menus which were said to cater for various tastes and preferences. Some rooms away from main building.
Guests whose rooms were located in the separate building from the hotel objected having to walk to the dining room for breakfast especially during bad weather. Some also found it cumbersome having to walk across to the hotel for dinner in the dark.

The Wi-Fi connection was said to be quite weak and intermittent as guest reported experiencing difficulties when trying to connect from their rooms. The signal was sad=id to be stronger near the reception area.

Guests brought up several maintenance -related issues ranging from broken lights through to faulty televisions. Those who reported the issues to the staff said that they were satisfied with the way in which the matters were handled.
