The hotel is conveniently located close to the centre of Florence; this puts you within walking distance of many attractions including the Cathedral Di Santa Maria Del Fiore. The train station is also very close. Staying at this hotel will make things easier for you if you have prior travelling arrangements.

The hotel offers guests a free breakfast. The breakfast is quite standard, though, so don't expect anything other than something to start you off on your day.

The free Wi-Fi in the lobby is sufficient for most browsing needs. You will also fall in love with the speed the wireless Internet comes with.

The hotel has undoubtedly seen better days. Almost every single thing in the hotel needs to be renovated. The rooms look rather dated, and no amount of cleaning could get some of the stains out. The showers are poorly designed, and plumbing issues are not rare. It's also difficult to have a decent shower due to the cramped space and possible flooding.

Don't look too closely because you may not like what you see. It seems the housekeeping staff only does the most basic cleaning; if you look closely enough, you'll see evidence of dirt accumulating. Some of the carpets look like they've never been washed.

The lighting in the reception area and around the hotel is quite gloomy, which gives everything a horrid dingy look.
