Rooms are very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Rooms are also quite spacious. They are serviced daily and they even replenish the bottled water supply. Air conditioning is very efficient.

The pool is terrific! Some say it doesn't get enough sun, whilst others welcome the fact! Breakfast is good too, but it comes with an extra cost attached and possibly needs more choices to accommodate western palates. Public transport and taxis aren't really needed as you can walk virtually everywhere from here. The hotel enjoys a very good and convenient location. There are drinking water fountains in the public areas and these are a very welcome addition.

Members of staff are always very friendly and helpful. Uber can't pick you up from the hotel, but that's no fault of the staff. Just get them to pick you up a few yards away and problem solved!

Electrical appliances in the room will only work when the door key is plugged in. It's a hot room to return to! Other less than enlightening features include the monumentally expensive room service, ‘phantom' alarm calls from the front desk. The occasional sight of a rat outside and the sound of them scurrying around in the ceiling spaces at night, also throws a shadow over the stay here.

If your room is anywhere near the street, you are liable to be disturbed by the noise. This isn't helped by the fact that there is no double glazing.

Furniture and bathroom fittings are looking old now and need replacing.
