The hotel has fantastic children's facilities and a fun place for the entire family. The kids' playground is huge and the restaurant serves special kids' meals as well. They also provide entertainment for the little ones, at no additional charge, while adults relax with a good meal.

There is plenty of food to go around with healthy portions, which suits big eaters just fine. Try the eye fillet steak with blue cheese if you are a meat eater, it's delicious. Breakfast served at the café is not immense; nonetheless, the banana bread, sandwiches and a few other goodies will hit the spot.

Though the hotel is on a main road, it's still quiet. It's a fantastic getaway, but not too far from attractions. There is great shopping and even a Woolworth's nearby. Speciality shops are just a few minutes away and a bus that takes you to the city and the airport is close by.

There are a few things that would make the room more welcoming like complimentary toiletries. In addition, there is no trash can in the bathroom. An extraction fan is absent and there is no hair dryer.

If you pay attention to the details, you may find that your room requires a little more TLC. For example, if you move the bed you might find leftovers from previous visitors.

The restaurant service is good but slow. You could find yourself waiting in a long line to order your meal. More service personnel would be beneficial.
