During your stay, serene atmosphere of the house itself and authentic Japanese environment of the neighborhood will promise you your relaxation. Miun is a house with traditional yet modern style. The two-floors house is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, a dining room with high ceiling, a Japanese style tatami room, a small zen garden, and two bathrooms and toilets, one on each floor. We will also provide you household products and appliances for you to use freely. While keeping the traditional style of machiya, latest appliances are installed to ensure convenience and comfort. Miun is a great choice for couples, friends, and families interested in old-town exploration, ancient landmarks, and scenery. The accommodations are in 15 minutes walking distance from both Kinkaku-ji Temple and Kitano-tenmangu Shrine. You can also reach Kinkaku-ji Temple by taxi (7 minutes) or by bus (13 minutes) and Kitano-tenmangu Shrine by taxi (7 minutes) or by train and bus (14 minutes). From Kyoto station, you can get to Miun by taxi (16 minutes) via Nijo station or by train and bus (27 min).
