Driftwood Motel (Niagara Falls, USA)

The hotel is not bad looking and has modern furnishings like a flat-screen TV in the room. The bed is sufficient and actually comfortable. It's fairly clean and reasonably priced. Perfect for visiting the falls.

There are places to and enough restaurants around the area for dining or grabbing a quick snack. Just about everything you want to do in Niagara Falls is not to far away. There are shopping possibilities as well.

Overall, the staff is quiet and very polite. They are great for offering suggestions on places to eat and the different sites in the area. The Niagara Falls is roughly a ten to twenty minute drive from the hotel.

The hotel is not as close to restaurants, shopping, and the falls as you might think. It is in a remote locale. If you arrive during the night hours, it appears desolate. It's not as close to things to do as the other hotels on the strip.

There is no dresser in the room or hangers to hang your clothing on. Small conveniences are sorely lacking.

It appears that rooms are not cleaned daily, so you have to ask when you want your room cleaned. You could find yourself in one of the less desirable rooms with numerous insects running around and strange smells. You receive no complimentary goodies either.
