This hotel is located in the center of downtown Dayton and is convenient to a host of restaurants, bars and eclectic shops as well as many popular tourist destinations. It's easy to access via I 75 and with public transportation within easy reach, you can leave your car at the hotel and go.

Other than service animals, Doubletree by Hilton Dayton Downtown does not accept pets. This is unfortunate for those who like to travel with their favorite four-legged friends.

No matter the time of day or night, the parking garage here is dark. Be sure to keep your wits about you when walking to your room and be sure to carry a flashlight or use the flashlight app on your smart phone.

Despite the fact that this property seems to be mid-renovation, it is only the public spaces that have been addressed thus far. The guest rooms, on the other hand, have seen better days. Stained carpeting, dated furnishings and bathroom fixtures, and stained linens are among the worst offenders.
