The staff at Dormy House are friendly, helpful and polite and create a nice atmosphere. They will do their best to make sure you have an enjoyable stay and will happily advise you on local walks to take and things to do in the hotel and local area.

It can get a bit busy.
Because the spa is so excellent, it sometimes gets a little crowded in there during the daytime. You might find a lack of available loungers by the pool, particularly because people place their towels on them in order to reserve them.

While staff are very friendly, the service is somewhat slow in the restaurants and bar. It seems that many of them have only a cursory knowledge hospitality. You might find yourself waiting quite a while for drinks or your meal.
