Dolphin Key Resort - Cape Coral (Cape Coral, USA)

The hotel rooms are immaculately clean, recently renovated and very well equipped. The food is good and it's really convenient and relaxing to enjoy good meals, drinks a pool and night time entertainment all within the resort area and not necessarily have to venture out to eat or for drinks.

The resort is set in a great location. It is near to a number of restaurants, which can be easily and quickly accessed on foot and is around two blocks away from the main strip.

The large pool is great for a leisurely swim. The bar by the pool and seated area makes for a relaxing area to chill out and enjoy a cocktail, or one of the drinks specials. Breakfast is also served in the bar area and is good quality and a wonderful start to the day.

Some found the hum of fridges in their rooms disturbed sleep at night. Others had issues with the air conditioning units not functioning properly and leaving their rooms too hot and humid while for others the units worked but were far too noisy.

The Tiki Bar area is very popular with guests, as is the pool area which stays open late into the night. The evening entertainment, which is usually live music is also popular, but can get loud. The guests tend to be a older without young families in tow. This means the hotel might not suit families with young children.

Many guests are impressed with the complimentary breakfast. Others felt that it was too basic, lacked variety and that there is a dearth of healthier options such as fresh fruit.
