Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Expo Ctr, an IHG Hotel (Louisville, USA)

As well as being so close to Louisville International Airport the Kentucky Exposition Center is just a few minutes' walk away as is Kentucky Kingdom amusement park. Also located nearby are Churchill Downs horseracing track and Louisville Zoo and downtown Louisville is around ten minutes' drive away straight down the interstate where there are shopping malls, bars and restaurants in abundance.

The heated pool is a great place to relax and unwind and is lovely and warm. The area surrounding the pool is large enough for you to sit around and do as you will and is well maintained and kept very clean by staff.

As the hotel is so close to so many attractions and places of interest it can become quite busy and quite full at times, but the staff on the front desk take all of this in their stride and always maintain a calm, friendly and courteous approach to ensure that everything runs like clockwork and that you have a pleasurable stay from the beginning until the end.

Due to the hotel's location and popularity when there are lots of guests then it can be quite noisy with lots of noise coming from the corridors and communal areas including music late at night which has led to reports of disturbed sleep in previous reviews.

The hotel has a dog friendly policy which is good for dog owners who don't want to leave their four legged friends at home, but other guests found that they were kept awake by barking or that there was a strong smell of dogs around the building and outside in the grounds it was also quite smelly and dirty.
