Crown is centrally located, easy to reach and close to lots of great tourist attractions, as well as dozens of local pubs and restaurants.

From the moment you check in, the staff goes out of their way to provide great service and a wonderful, homely experience. They are happy to accommodate most any request and regale you with local history of the town and the hotel.

It’s first come, first served at Crown’s small car park which can fill up quickly. This may leave you having to search for alternative parking which can certainly be frustrating.

If this is your first time staying here, you might be confused as to how to get warm water in the shower. This is accomplished by pulling a rope above your head, which then releases plenty of warm water, but the learning curve is a bit tricky.

Some of the guest rooms here are not as spacious as others, which can be problematic if you are travelling with more than one person or need room to maneuver. Be sure to make it known at check-in if you need more spacious accommodations.
