All about the location
This boutique property boasts an outstanding location on the European side of the Golden Horn, giving guests a prime location from which to explore this ancient city. Set close to Istiklal, keen shoppers were delighted to find that they were in the heart of Istanbul's most famous retail district. With a number of museums, palaces and mosques so close, history buffs were also kept more than happy here too. Those who wanted to explore the city were thrilled to find an array of ferry links, tram and metro stops close to this hotel.

This hotel managed to provide guests with luxurious accommodation and top-notch amenities without being gaudy or overblown. The atmosphere here was a real treat and the arty, neo-classical surrounds only served to heighten guests' sense of history, enhancing both their time in Istanbul and providing an overwhelmingly positive experience at this hotel.

Helpful and friendly, yet unobtrusive, the staff at this boutique property go out of their way to offer assistance to guests. Whether you need directions, a taxi or help choosing from this hotel's excellent wine list, the team at this hotel are more than happy to oblige.

Some noise
While many reported absolutely outstanding stays here, some guests did note a few niggling points. First and foremost, this is a very popular, crowded area of Istanbul and there were reports of noise from nightclubs, pubs and bars.

There's no doubt that rooms here are luxurious, but some guests found them to be rather small for their liking.
