The guest rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The hotel is not noisy, even though it is fairly central and near the port. Car parking is available nearby and is not too expensive.

Guests found the staff to be particularly efficient, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty with a wide range of choice, including a full Irish breakfast. The bar food was also found to be of an excellent quality and good variety.

A mother staying in the hotel and her young son were both disturbed at three o’clock in the morning by the stag and hen festivities. She suggests that those parties should be accommodated well away from the areas where families are staying.
