CIW Hostel (Vecindario, Spain)

Many guests said that overall, they thought the hostel offered a good value for money. Even though the facilities are basic, guests often chose this property when they wanted a low-cost windsurfing holiday.

Although there were a few comments about staff members who could not speak English fluently, guests usually found that the employees were fantastically friendly and ready to do whatever they could to provide warm welcomes.

Guests repeatedly mentioned the beautiful views from the property. Some guests were even given rooms that featured spacious windows that made it easy to watch people windsurfing. Sometimes, that made guests willing to try the activity too, even if they weren't initially keen about it.

Many guests felt this hostel was in the middle of nowhere and said they found it too hard to get to surrounding areas. Although public transit is available, guests said it was unreliable. Furthermore, guests said they would not recommend staying here unless your main purpose was to windsurf, because they said even with a car, there is not a lot to do nearby,

Guests griped that they often had to deal with cold showers. They said the shower system is solar powered and if they experienced several rainy days during a trip, the chances were high that there would not be a lot of hot water to go around.

Some guests were upset because they were not expecting to have to pay extra for linens and towels. Be sure to bring some from home if your budget is tight.
