Positive Reviews
positive:
Top notch location.
Guests were very pleased with the great location of Internazionale. Everything was within easy walking distance, and the railway station was only about 15 minutes away. A short 10-minute walk to Piazza D'Azeglio took guests to a bus station with connections to small nearby towns, as well as to Lucca, Pisa, Florence and beyond.
positive:
Nice staff.
Friendly staff were the icing on the cake for many guests. Full of suggestions for places to go, they were also as helpful as possible, offering street parking passes when they could, and recommending bike rentals and other unique experiences.
positive:
Neat and tidy.
With the exception of a few guests who had to ask for more frequent linen replacement, the majority of visitors found rooms to be in great condition. Cleaned to a high standard, it was hard for most to find fault, and a search for dust, mould, or dirt usually came up empty.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Limited in-room entertainment.
Guests looking for a quiet evening with a glass of wine and the TV or Internet might have their hopes dashed. English speaking guests were advised that the TV only had Italian channels, and that Wi-Fi was very precarious at times.
negative:
Basic breakfast.
Big eaters may want to skip the breakfast. While advertised as continental, and sufficient for many, some guests wanted a little more variety to fill them up. Hot items weren't an option, and a few commented that food wasn't replenished fast enough.
negative:
Ask about room size.
There seemed to be a big difference in room size here. Some guests were satisfied with the space that they were allocated, while others struggled to stay positive with a tight fit, especially for two. The saving grace was that rooms were considered to be reasonably priced, and most weren't there to spend a lot of time indoors.
