Negative Reviews
negative:
Decor Lacking.
Although many rooms have been renovated, there are still a few in need of a makeover. Guests report things like pealing wallpaper, broken bathroom towel racks and holes in the tiles. Not very appealing.
negative:
Creaky Beds.
For many guests, it all comes down to the bed. At the Castle Hotel, one traveller found the beds to be creaky, stiff and uncomfortable. Couple that with the cold chill left in the room from an open window and there wasn't a chance for a good night's rest.
negative:
Noise, Noise, Noise.
A common complaint from several guests was the level of noise seeping in from the outside and from the next room over. The hotel is on a busy street and there is no accommodating noisy guests.
