Cascade Village Hotel (Rico, USA)

Cascade Village offers adventure-filled ski holidays in the perfect location at the foot of the San Juan Mountains. The property is perfect for easy trips to a number of different mountain ski locations and resorts including the Durango Mountain resort, just over two miles from Cascade Village.

Condominium-style units are entirely self-contained and available in three bedroom units or smaller studios. All units include en-suite bathrooms with showers or bath/showers as well as free Wi-Fi connectivity. Depending on the unit, guests can enjoy balconies, separate lounge areas, real wood burning fireplaces and pullout sofas. Units also include fully-equipped kitchens for all meal preparations.

Cascade Village provides great general amenities including a free shuttle service to and from the ski slopes and a choice of a heated indoor pool or either indoor or outdoor hot tubs. Active guests can also enjoy the resorts fully-equipped fitness center and tennis court.

Being a family ski resort and condominium village, there are often a number of larger family groups staying at on the property which can be quite noisy, especially with younger children. Guests who prefer a more quiet experience should check in advance before booking. Some guests have also noted a fair amount of road noise, due to the nearby location of the 550 Highway.

The resort is a multi-level building but there is no elevator available for guests staying in rooms above ground level. This can be difficult for guests with a large amount of luggage or those with mobility issues.

While each unit is self-contained, general supplies are not included. Guests must purchase their own toilet and kitchen paper, cleaning supplies, bathrooms supplies and so on.
