About Monte Alto

Monte Alto is a property with 300 hectares of oak forest located between the counties of Campo Maior and Arronches, near Natural Park of S. Mamede next Abrilongo dam. Recently the house was recovered, with only 8 rooms, all different, with a unique decoration, equipped with bathroom, air conditioning and television. Rooms, patio and porches provide moments of rest both in winter near the fireplace and in summer in the porches and swimming pool. The swimming pool, the bike rides, the walks on homologated routes, the interpretive visits of the oak forest, the organic vegetable garden (where the guests can pick the vegetables they want to have in the soup), the proximity of the animals in free grazing, the nocturnal observation of stars, are programs that we make available to guests. Outside the homestead, within a radius of 30 kms guests have several places of interest to visit such as Elvas, Marvão, Campo Maior, Ouguela. The Winnery Mayor and the Coffee Science Center are about 5 minutes from Monte Alto. A further 20 km you can visit Olivença and Badajoz in Spain. We privilege personalized and family service.
