Caro Hotel (Valencia, Spain)

Step out of the hotel's doors and straight into the old city. It's a short walk to Plaza de la Reina and Museu de Belles Art. An abundance of tapas bars, cafes and restaurants are in the neighbouring streets. For those who like to indulge in retail therap

The staff are without exception highly professional and most welcoming. They provide excellent service to guests and always with a smile. The food in the hotel is excellent, from the freshly cooked breakfast which offers cooked meats and eggs or cold cuts

The little touches make a stay here extra special. Free tea in bone china cups delivered by room service and free soft drinks and snacks in the rooms' minibars which are restocked two times a day.

Visitors have raved about the quality of the food served in the hotel's restaurant. Those curious to sample the cuisine there are disappointed to find that it is closed for many days of the week. Visitors can however, eat in one of the many very good loca

Some found the interior room design too minimal to be functional. The lack of furniture in the rooms means that there aren't many surfaces on which to place or organise the contents of your suitcase. Likewise, there isn't much room to lay out the free tea

All the rooms have an open plan bathroom. Some guests would prefer that the bathrooms were kept wholly separate from the main bedroom for reasons of aesthetics and privacy.
