Carambola Beach Resort St. Croix, US Virgin Islands (Christiansted, US Virgin Islands)

The Carambola Beach Resort & Spa in Christiansted is in a location which has nature's bounty. With the beach and forest nearby, guests find the resort a paradise and can indulge in a spectacular holiday of tranquility as well as fun. The guests can walk, hike or spend an engaging time with water activities or playing golf as the beach and golf course are close to the resort. Many historical places of importance can also be visited.

The air conditioned rooms and suites are spread over the two-story building of the resort. The rooms are equipped with satellite TV, refrigerator, and a designer bath with walk-in closets and twin vanities. All rooms have a screened patio with sea or garden views. Suites have sitting areas with pull out sofas.

The resort has a pool and a full service spa. A fitness center and conference rooms are present. Banquet facilities are available plus laundry facilities. Guests enjoy easy access to the beach and can indulge in snorkeling and diving with scuba and other gears available for rent in the dive shop nearby. A shuttle service is provided to guests. Two restaurants serve Caribbean and continental cuisine.

The rooms are infested with ants. Maintenance in the rooms is bad and floors are dusty especially in the patios. Garbage is not changed regularly making the problem of ants worse.

The service at the resort is very slow and staff is inefficient and rather unfriendly. Staff is reluctant to help with information about the activities available in the area for guests. There is nothing featured for entertainment.

Wi-Fi connectivity is impossible and guests have to stay offline all through their stay. The TV reception is very poor as well.
