Several guests mentioned that for the amount they spent, they feel they got a real value. While it's a no-frills, family-friendly hotel it does provide a certain home away from home feeling thanks to the amenities like the in-room kitchens, washers and dryers, etc.

Visitors gave the hotel props for being near the international airport as well as being close to larger populated areas, like Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. Plus, according to some guests it's not far from restaurants or other conveniences.

Guests here said they enjoyed their interactions with the staff. They were knowledgeable about the hotel and were willing to help however and whenever they were needed.

Some visitors mentioned that they miss certain guest amenities that can't be found here. This includes extras such as breakfast, daily housekeeping and swimming pools. For the majority of visitors, however, this was not a deterrent for their stay. It's just something they wish was offered 'standard' with their stay.

According to some guests, although the hotel touts airport shuttle service, they were unable to use it. For a few guests this was an issue because they were depending upon the airport shuttle to get to and from the hotel. Guests mentioned that you should be advised and form a backup plan when it comes to transportation.

The majority of visitors didn't have an issue with insects. However, some travelers did. Some mentioned finding ants. Others said they found bugs that resembled roaches or beetles.
