Several guests remarked that they felt the rooms, and even the common areas, were well-kept and clean. They mentioned that the hotel looked and smelled fresh.

Guests remarked that if you need location between Houston and Galveston, this hotel works out well. Furthermore, it's got easy access to the freeway and other locations such as the UTMB care center.

Visitors mentioned that not only do the rooms have everything that you need (cookware, dishware, etc.), they also provide exchanges at the front desk for games, books, movies, etc. Guests can even check out appliances like blenders and crockpots. For people on extended stays, they remarked that it feels like a home away from home.

While majority of people didn't have an issue, some people did remark that the front desk staff can be a bit rude and short with visitors. So if you are expecting a warm, fuzzy treatment, you may not find it here.

Some guests remarked that the walls seemed rather thin so you can hear what's going on outside of your room. Others remarked that some of the appliances, such as the refrigerator, can be rather noisy. Depending on your tolerance for noise, some earplugs might be in order.

A few guests were disheartened that there's no daily housekeeping, no breakfast and no ice machines on the premises. Since this is more of an extended-stay location, they were disappointed that these extras weren't provided by the hotel. However, a majority of the guests understood this prior to booking so it wasn't an issue.
