The Biological Park of Vinhais is a public space installed by the town council of Vinhais, within the Montesinho Natural Park, 2km from the town of Vinhais. Its purpose is to help interpret the landscape of the region, not only its natural components such as flora, fauna and geology, but also its cultural and historical components; nature conservation; the promotion of biodiversity and ecotourism. Using the Biological Park as base you are invited to take thee different routs/trails where you can explore different thematics of interest to the region such as local flora and fauna, castra (ancient fortifications) and traditional constructions like water mills and dovecotes. After a journey through nature you rest comfortably in the parks hostel or at the Rural Camping Park. The Rural Cmping Park is equipped to receive campers in the tend area or the caravan area or still in the Bungalows T1, T2, T3, T4, you can experience the comfort of a home and also the sounds and scents of nature.
