Camping site Hidden Valley Holiday Park Darwin (Darwin, Australia)

A number of visitors described lazing by the pool as their favourite past time at the holiday park.  Another favourite thing for previous guests to do was to wander down to the on-site cafe for a bite to eat or to grab a coffee. Guests said the food was great and well priced.

Guests said that the park itself was very clean and clear of rubbish with the grounds and driveways well maintained. Guests als mentioned that the staff were very friendly and helpful and that check- in was smooth and hassle free.

The park has a central communal camp kitchen for use by campers and caravanners and guests commented that, as well as being well maintained, that there was good cooking areas and that it was a pleasant place to hang out and meet other travellers.

Seasoned campers and caravanners complained that the sites at this tourist park were very small, with not a lot of space between the sites to create a feeling of space. Guests also commented that the en-suite sites were not cleaned daily or during extended stays.

A common complaint for people who stayed here was that there was only one amenities block to service the whole park. Guests thought that there should have been more facilities to cope with the volume of tourists, as there was a wait at peak times to use the showers.

Guests complained that the park was noisy as it is situated beneath the main flight path into Darwin and as well as being located between two of the major highways leading in and out of Darwin. For some the noise was the sole reason for their negative review.
