Camping Village Torre Pendente (Pisa, Italy)

This site offered guests the best of both worlds; indeed, it was popular with those who wanted the rustic feel of camping without compromising their access to central Pisa. These discerning guests were pleased to find that the sights of the town - including its famous leaning tower - are located just a short walk down the road. Also, travellers hoping to go further afield in this corner of Italy found themselves situated close to the city's San Rossore railway station, which offered excellent access to the cities of the Ligurian coast.

Taken as a whole, guests were impressed with the overall spaciousness of this site. Its large size made it popular with families, who were able to spread out unencumbered. In terms of amenities, the pool - just like the site itself - was noted to be large, clean and very popular with younger guests.

Judging by the comments of past guests, pitches are not assigned here. During the busier summer months, this gave the site a chaotic, Wild West feel as campers scrambled to stake their claims and pitch their tents. Those with campers and caravans also commented that pitches were oddly tight for their large vehicles.

An incredibly high number of guests were unhappy that swimmers here had to don compulsory caps before wading into this property's pool. Many queried what they felt to be an odd policy.

Many felt that the quality of food in the restaurant was too dear and for those who forgot their bathing cap, the fee for this obligatory amenity was an annoyance.
