The Cambria Suites in Traverse City could not be in a better location to facilitate guests staying there to visit the many attractions of the city. Institutions like Northwestern Michigan College, Munson Medical Center and Interlochen Center for Arts are nearby. The downtown area is a hub for business centers and events like The Traverse City Film Festival, so guests have close proximity to these places.

The 92 suites are upscale with premium bedding and other luxurious amenities. Two flat screen LCD televisions are provided in every suite, one for the living room and the other for the bedroom. Other amenities are microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. Bathrooms feature spa-like baths.

The hotel caters to both business and holidaying guests. It has a_x000D_ Boardroom which can accommodate up to 14 people and a meeting or banquet room_x000D_ with a capacity for 60 people. An indoor pool and hot tub are present for_x000D_ guests to enjoy relaxing swims. A fully equipped fitness center and a sundry_x000D_ shop are featured as well. The bistro serves all meals and the bar takes care_x000D_ of drinks. A coffee shop is present in the lobby of the hotel. Free amenities_x000D_ include parking, airport shuttle and Wi-Fi.

The hotel does not feature complimentary breakfast which guests feel should be part of the amenities. The food in the bistro is average and not value for money paid. Only a single waitress is present for seven tables.

The indoor pool is rather small and guests feel that an outdoor pool should be featured as well. Parking on crowded nights like the Jazz night is a major difficulty.

The sofa bed in the living room is extremely uncomfortable. There is no trash bags provided for the trash bins in the rooms.
