Brackenborough Hotel (Louth, United Kingdom)

Many of the guests were impressed with the hotel's decor stating that it fulfilled their expectations of what a country hotel should look like. The rooms were described as being nicely decorated with quality furniture and upholstery with equally well-appointed en-suites. Guests said they had all the necessary mod-cons needed for a comfortable stay.

The hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle and surrounded by its own private gardens which provide a very picturesque backdrop. Many appreciated the relaxing surroundings but also being just one mile away from the market town of Louth with its numerous shops, bars and restaurants.

All the members of staff have been highly praised by the guests who said that they were made to feel welcome and at ease for their entire stay. Many mentioned individual members of staff by name and thanked them for their efforts at making their stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Guests mentioned that the lighting in their rooms was too dim which made reading quite difficult and some also objected to the rather dark colours of the decor which made the rooms look quite gloomy.

The hotel is a popular venue for wedding reception and some guests whose rooms were located close to the function suite remarked that they could hear loud music at times when parties were being held there.

Guests whose rooms were located on the upper floors of the building said they found it quite tiring climbing several flights of stairs on a daily basis as there is no lift on the premises. If you have any mobility issues it's advisable to ask for a room on the lower floors.
