Boutique Hotel Villa Pattiera (Cavtat, Croatia)

Guests say that the location of the Villa Pattiera in Cavtat, Croatia, is so central that they step straight out into the many restaurants, beach and cafes surrounding it. Most of the sightseeing like shopping and churches are all on a walking path that runs along the lovely Dalmatian Coast. Guests love to work up a tan on the rocky beaches or go swimming. Dubrovnik is around a 45-minute drive.

The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful and guests say that they go an extra mile to make guests feel at home. Guests find the decor of the hotel charming and say that the terraces on the rear of the hotel are an additional attraction. Breakfast also wins brownie points with the guests as it is tasty and the service is good.

Guests say that the rooms are nice and clean. Beds are fantastic and many guests say that they had the best sleep ever. The rooms that open out into the large terrace are especially nice and well appointed.

Some guests did not like that the reception is often left unmanned. The room keys are left unattended and guests say this might prove unsafe.

Parking is not available onsite and guests say that they have to park on the street, which is a bit tricky.

Some rooms are poorly lit and guests say the dark furniture did not help much in brightening the rooms. The air conditioning is also ineffective and when windows are opened guests are subjected to loud and drunk talk from the street outside until early in the morning. Another source of noise is the planes flying over as the hotel is on a direct flight path.
