Bonville Golf Resort (Coffs Harbour, Australia)

Guests raved about the award winning golf course on which this hotel is set. It's so beautiful that even if you don't play golf, you will still enjoy the scenery.

A friendly, helpful staff welcomes you at check-in and is there for the duration of your stay. They are happy to accommodate most any request and can point you in the direction of restaurants, bars, beaches and  entertainment venues located nearby as well as the most popular local attractions.

The chef at the restaurants here is talented. Everything is freshly prepared and delicious. The wine list is quite extensive, so food pairing is part of the dining experience.

Although the guest rooms are clean, they are starting to look tired. Dated furnishings, beds and bedding that need replacing and bathroom fixtures that have seen better days could detract from your stay.

The bore water which comes out of the taps in the guest rooms is not filtered so it's not drinkable. The hotel does supply bottled water for guests but there isn't much of it. So when you consider that you must use it for brushing your teeth, drinking and making your tea or coffee, the amount provided is way less than you need.

You may be kept awake by the noise form neighbors hanging out on their balconies late into the night as voices really carry on this property.
