Positive Reviews
positive:
Fabulous location when staying in Wildwood
This hotel is nicely situated off of the boardwalk and close enough to popular shopping, leisure, and seaside spots. It's easy to get to the convention from here, and a great base for exploring the city and neighboring Cape May.
positive:
Great onsite amenities enhance the vacation
A seaside vacation is all about fun and relaxation, and Bolero Resort makes sure you experience that, through the additional onsite amenities. You can maintain an exercise routine here, or unwind in the pool when not in the ocean. Many also appreciate the spa services to indulge in.
positive:
Nice atmosphere and value for a family stay
There's a lot of attention towards families here, with special packages, children's menus, and an ambience that is as inviting to those with kids as it is to those without. Even with a nightclub and late night entertainment onsite, the atmosphere is kept relatively quiet for guests. The rates are also fair, especially for parties working with a budget.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Room and bed are not as comfortable as expected
The bed is too hard for many, the pillows are not as fluffy, and the overall room impression is disappointing. Fixtures and furnishings need attention, and things such as flooring, walls, and paint need to be refreshed. The bathrooms also need to be better cleaned.
negative:
Not enough towels and toiletries are provided
Towels, wash cloths, linens, and toiletries are not always in generous supply, nor adequately replenished. Sometimes requests need to be repeated, and they're still not always fulfilled.
negative:
Inconsistent air conditioning is frustrating
The air conditioning is spotty, not always staying on, or remaining at a steady setting. You may want to have a small travel fan handy in case you want consistently cool air flow.
