Full of charm and character
The place is a bit quirky, but it’s an old building and guests seem to love the quaintness of it all. It’s very cozy throughout, and you will actually feel like you are staying in someone’s house rather than a guesthouse.

The Skytrain is not too far from the guesthouse making it very easy to get anywhere in Vancouver. There are quite a few tourist attractions within walking distance, and guests were pleased that there are quite a few dining options close by.
The most important meal of the day is cooked to perfection at this guesthouse. There seems to be something different on offer every day, and if you don’t fancy a cooked breakfast, then there’s plenty of cereal and fruit.
There are no staff at the place when you check in, and you just pick up your key which is left by the door for you. This raises a few security concerns with guests as anyone can let themselves in. The fact that the staff never seem to be there is a bit strange and inconvenient if you have any issues.
The ground floor room is actually in the basement and guests say that it’s a bit musty. You won’t be getting much of a view from down there, and it’s not quite the luxurious room many had expected.
