positive:
Perfect fine-dine
The B&B offers a
free Southern breakfast that is tasty and sumptuous. There is a lot of variety
and the food is freshly cooked. Plus, the B&B serves complimentary wine and
cheese to all the guests. The wine and cheese experience, which involved
knowing other guests in the B&B, was absolutely unique and helped everyone
mingle.
positive:
Excellent hospitality
Guests
were totally in awe of the hospitality extended by the owners of the B&B.
The B&B is a family-run place and yet managed in a professional way giving
the guests a homely feeling. Even the staff working in the B&B is friendly
and helpful, and are always available for assisting guests.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Basic, nothing fancy
The B&B is set in a house dating back to 1848. Thus, the furnishings and rooms here are basic. There’s nothing fancy about it. Guests looking for extraordinary posh rooms were disappointed. In some rooms, guests even noticed the furniture falling apart.
negative:
Lack of housekeeping
The B&B does not have charming rooms like in
updated hotels. Since it is a family-run property, housekeeping was lax at
times and guests had to face some trouble on the cleanliness front.
negative:
Unclean bathrooms
Some
guests mentioned about the dismal state of bathrooms. There were drainage
issues in some rooms, which kept the floor wet constantly. Moreover, the
bathrooms were quite small.
