The The Hideaway at Windermere is exactly that; a 4-star retreat tucked away 10-minutes’ walk from the lake village of Windermere. The 1890-built former schoolhouse provides a great base for exploring the Lake District National Park. All of the custom-furnished rooms come with free Wi-Fi, power shower, Egyptian cotton linen, tea and coffee facilities and a 20” flat-screen TV.
