Bed & Breakfast St. George Guest House (Wexford, Ireland)

Guests were pleased to find that they were a comfortable walk away from the beach which many found very convenient. As only breakfasts are served on-site guests also found it handy being in close proximity to a main shopping street with numerous shops, bars and restaurants.

Many said that they felt very well looked after during their stay due to the warm and hospitable manner of their host. Guests were full of praise for the owner who they said often went the extra mile in order to meet their needs such as preparing breakfast earlier and offering helpful information with regards to what to see and where to dine in the area.

The continental buffet was described as being extensive featuring a wide range of items such as cereals, yoghurts and fresh fruit. Those who opted for the full Irish breakfast said that it was well-prepared using fresh quality ingredients whilst the portions were said to be ample.

Guests mentioned that the decor in their rooms looked like it was in need of modernisation as they objected to the rather old-fashioned looking furniture and upholstery. Quite a few also mentioned that the bathroom would benefit from refurbishment due to the rather basic and dated fixtures and fittings.

The single and twin rooms have been described as being rather small with guests objecting to the fact that they had very little space to move around as well as to stow away their belongings.

There is no lift on the premises and those whose rooms were located on the higher floors said that they found the daily climb to their accommodation rather tiring.
